Chair Geiger called the special meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. The special meeting was called to consider a request submitted by Unit 3 Trial Court Administrator, Donna Wunderlich, on behalf of Judge Hagerty, to waive the entry level requirements of Policy 103(C)(1) and hire a new court reporter at Pay Grade 12, Step 3.
It was moved by Rod Olson, seconded by Ted Smith, to waive the entry level requirements under Policy 103(C)(1) and hire a court reporter at Pay Grade 12, Step 3. The motion carried unanimously on a roll call vote and will be forwarded to the chief justice for consideration. (Yes - Justice Kapsner, Rod Olson, Ted Smith, Gladys Schmitt, Jerrold Arneson, Chair Geiger; No - none).
