RE: Rule 2.2, N.D.R.Ct.; Facsimile Transmission
The Council of Presiding Judges has requested that N.D.R.Ct. 2.2(b) be amended to remove the requirement that the original order or warrant be filed in cases where a facsimile was made of the order or warrant. Such an amendment would be consistent with N.D.R.Ct. 2.2(a) which allows papers to be filed by facsimile transmission. A version of Rule 2.2 containing the proposed amendment is attached.
