The States Attorney's Office is seeking applicants for an Assistant State's Attorney. This is a new position and duties will commence on or after January 1, 2010. The position will have an emphasis on Juvenile Court work, and will also involve criminal prosecutions, and appeals, traffic hearings, mental health committals and advising law enforcement agencies and county government.
Incumbents must be licensed to practice law in the State of North Dakota or eligible for admission and must have excellent research and writing skills and be willing to make numerous weekly court appearances. Experience is preferred.
Starting salary for this position is $4458.00 per month but may be higher depending on qualifications.
