Proposed Amendments to the North Dakota Rules of Professional Conduct
On December 9, 2008, the Joint Committee on Attorney Standards forwarded proposed amendments to North Dakota Rules of Professional Conduct 1.0, Terms, and 1.15, Safekeeping Property and Professional Liability Insurance Disclosure, which are proposed pending legislation. Copies of the proposed amendments are attached. The Court considered the matter, and
ORDERED, any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing before Monday, January 26, 2009. Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, Justices, directing the Chief Deputy Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
