Born in 1937, Minot, ND. Undergraduate at Harvard University 1955-56 with BSBA degree from University of North Dakota 1960. J.D. degree from University of North Dakota School of Law 1971. Admitted to Bar - North Dakota and U.S. District Court 1971. Private practice 1971-81. Appointed Ward County Judge 1981 and elected thereafter. Elected District Judge in 1992, and 1998. Retired as District Judge Dec. 31, 2004. Died Sept. 9, 2007.
