The Committee has a request from Judge Graff to supersede Section 27-05-27, NDCC, which prohibits a judge from amending an order or judgment of another judge. Judge Graff would like a rule authorizing a single judge to amend the conditions of all the unsatisfied judgments of a misdemeanant, regardless of whether the judge ordered entry of all the judgments. The purpose of the rule would be to allow a judge to consolidate the proceedings when a misdemeanant has failed to satisfy the conditions of more than one misdemeanor judgment.
