RE:Courtroom Oath - Proposals
In the material following are a selection of oaths from other jurisdictions and alternatives for the Committee's consideration. The Committee will need to decide whether it wants to consolidate the various oaths into one location, and which alternatives, if any, it wants to include in the proposed rule format. The Committee will also need to decide which, if any, of the statutory oaths should be superseded. The statutes in question are in the material following the courtroom oaths.
