For informational purposes, included in the material are the amendments proposed by the Committee in its annual rules package as adopted by the Supreme Court.
The Committee will consider an amendment to N.D.R.Civ.P. 3 requiring filing of the complaint within 12 months of service of the summons.
The Committee will consider amendments to N.D.R.Civ.P. 4 that track the amendments to N.D.R.Civ.P. 3.
The Committee will consider whether it is necessary to further amend N.D.R.Civ.P. 23 to liberalize its "opt out" provisions.
The Committee will consider amendments to N.D.R.Ct. 7.1(d) incorporating the alternative satisfaction of judgment procedure contained in N.D.C.C. § 28-20-28.
The Committee will consider amendments to N.D.R.App.P. 32 discussed at the September 2001 meeting and suggested by the Supreme Court clerk's office.
The Committee will consider whether to include the provisions of the Uniform Mediation Act in the procedural rules.
