RE:Rule 4, N.D.R.Civ.P.; Service of Process
At the last meeting, the Committee approved an amendment to Rule 4, N.D.R.Civ.P., at the request of the North Dakota Sheriff's Association. The proposal allows service upon on individual's spouse at the office of the process server.
The proposal approved by the Committee at the last meeting does not read correctly. The proposal appears to require the spouse to reside at the office of the process server.
