RE: Proposed Amendments to the Court Rules
The Committee's petition for adoption of proposed rule amendments--the Annual Rules Package--was submitted to the Supreme Court July 9, 2004. At the same time, the Committee's proposed amendments to N.D.R.Civ.P. 62 and N.D.R.App.P. 8 (relating to appellate bond limits) were submitted to the Court.
The Supreme Court has scheduled a hearing on the rule amendment proposals for October 4, 2004.
Staff has a hard copy of the proposed amendments available for review. The proposed amendments are also online at the Court's website.
If any Committee members have comments on the proposed amendments they would like to pass on to the Court, please submit them to staff prior to the hearing.
