RULE 4.2 NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES
In any matter that involves a child in foster care under the responsibility of the state, notice must be served on the child's foster parents, pre-adoptive parents and relative caregivers whenever any proceeding is held with respect to the child.
EXPLANATORY NOTE
Rule 4.2 was adopted, effective _______________________, in response to Public Law 109-239, which requires states receiving certain federal funds to have a foster parent notice rule.
