RE: Rule 8.13, N.D.R.Ct., In Chambers Interview of Child in Domestic Relations Case
Rule 8.13 came before the Committee at the September 2010 and April 2011 meetings. The Committee discussed the rule proposal at length during the meetings, amending and finally approving the text. The proposed new rule is now before the Supreme Court as part of the Committee's Annual Rules Package.
Ms. Ottmar has requested that the Committee take a final look at Rule 8.13, so a copy of the rule as it has been presented to the Supreme Court is attached.
