Approval of minutes on May 9, 2008; Tara Muhlhauser moved approval of minutes; Karen Kringlie seconded; motion carried.
Best Practices Manual
Update of Best Practices Manual sent to members. Judge Mattson moved to approve updates; Dale Thompson seconded; motion carried.
Proposed Rules
Rule 1 Same as has been.
Rule 2 New language as to "parties" line 14.
Rule 3 Same except add line 4 reference to 2b.
Rule 4 Will be rewritten.
Rule 5 Line 5 "who are".
Rule 6 Line 12 "court may order".
Rule 7-9 Same as had been.
Rule 10 Same except take out "A child's" line 47.
Rule 11 Change on lines 18 and 19.
New language on objections.
Rule 12 Lines 12 and 13 "experience" new language.
Lines 18-21 new language from 8.6.
Line 54 new language under "d".
Line 65 reduce size of board.
Line 71 language from 8.6.
Take "c" out of line 12.
Incorporate 27-20-48 language at start.
Line 55 subject to "5d" language.

Mike Hagburg will make changes and disburse to members prior to next meeting.
Some discussion as to whether to add an expedited appeal rule and rule as to destruction of records.
