INFORMAL COMPLAINT AGAINST A
JUDGE OR JUDICIAL EMPLOYEE

This is not a formal complaint or grievance against a judge or judicial employee nor will it initiate a disciplinary proceeding. You may file a written complaint with the Judicial Conduct Commission if you want to file a formal complaint against a judge. Such a complaint should be sent to Paul Jacobson, Disciplinary Counsel, P.O. Box 2297, Bismarck, ND 58502-2297. You may file a written complaint against an attorney with the Disciplinary Board. Such a complaint should be sent to Penny Miller, Clerk of the Supreme Court, 600 E. Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, ND 58505-0530. If you are an employee of the judicial system, you may file a formal grievance against another employee of the judicial system. Such a grievance should be sent to the person's supervisor (or if that is not appropriate you may contact the State Director of Human Resources (State Court Administrative Office -- 701-328-4216) to determine who should receive the grievance.)
