The meeting was called to order by Chair John T. Paulson, at 1:00 p.m. on November 24. He asked for a motion on the minutes of the June 25-27, 2003, Judicial Conference meeting that were distributed. It was moved and seconded that the minutes of the June 25-27, 2003, meeting be approved as distributed. Motion carried. Executive Secretary Ted Gladden called roll. At this time, the chairman asked Ted Gladden to read the memorial resolution to be presented to the family of the Hon. James H. O’Keefe on November 25. Chairman Paulson introduced Linda L. Chezem for the first presentation on impaired driving and the admissibility of toxicology testimony. Elaine Little was introduced for her presentation on Corrections’ protocols for methamphetamine prisoners. Tuesday, November 25, 2003 Judicial Conference was reconvened and the first session was on cultural diversity presented by Yoke-Sim Gunaratne. Hope Olson from the Bureau of Criminal Investigation was introduced for the session on DNA testing. Jeanne McLean was introduced and she provided an introduction to the Domestic Violence Benchbook provided to conference participants. Business Meeting Chair Paulson called for committee reports. There being no reports, he called on Jim Ganje to discuss the new self-represented litigant forms that will be available December 1. Meeting adjourned. Respectfully Submitted,
