Douglas R. Herman, Vice-Chair of the Judicial Conference, called the Conference to order at 10:00 a.m. The roll call was conducted by Louie Hentzen. A quorum was reported present.

The business meeting of the Judicial Conference was called to order at Noon on November 21, 2006.
Judge Irby made a motion to approve the minutes of the June 15, 2006, meeting, Judge Marquart seconded. The motion carried and the minutes were approved.
New judges were recognized.
Chair Maring called on Judge Wefald to present a report from the Legislative Committee.
Judge Wefald began by indicating that the Committee was not going to pursue an amendment to N.D.C.C. § 20.1-0.26, but instead the issue was referred to Game and Fish and they would pursue a statutory amendment, if they desired one.
Judge Wefald then asked the Conference to adopt the Committee's recommendation for amendments of those statutes to expunging court information.
Justice Kapsner made a motion to consider all three proposals as separate and apart and to take a vote on each one; Judge Paulson seconded the motion. The motion carried.
