RULE 1. SCOPE AND PURPOSE
These rules govern the procedure in all actions conducted under the Uniform Juvenile Court
Act, N.D.C.C. ch. 27-20. They must be construed and administered to protect the best
interests of children and to address the unique characteristics and needs of children.
