Minutes of the February 20, 2009 meeting were adopted.
Status of Proposed Rule for Juvenile Procedure (Justice Maring) The proposed rules have gone to Joint Procedure; sent to the Supreme Court; recommended civil
or criminal rules apply if not addressed by Juvenile Procedure Rules. There may be some gaps;
Policy Board may need to modify.
Juvenile Directors Report (Dave McGeary Reporting for Karen Kringlie) The Juvenile Court Conference has been rescheduled for September; CMS audits completed in
May; list of terms and definitions has been completed; cohort cleanup of data is ongoing;
Juvenile Management Reviews have started; YASI update just completed.
Court Improvement Project Three grants; Basic (which is used to administer the lay GAL program); Education and Training;
Data Collection and Analysis (developing performance measures).
Program Improvement Plan for CFSR Rule 4.2. may be duplicative to the Juvenile Procedure Rules. May need an educational session.
Staffing Study Standards RFP Deadline to respond to the RFP is July 1, 2009.
Good of the Order Need to see if we have any five year plans.
