Chief Justice VandeWalle outlined the following staff recommendations:
Priority One and Two:
SE - .5 FTE Secretary II
NE - .5 FTE Secretary II
Because there is no central assignment system in these districts, a half-time position should be adequate. Efficiencies can be obtained by office reorganization to obtain administration support between juvenile court and district court staff.
Priority Three:
Computer position
Primary duty is training for district court personnel. UCIS, JCMS, and jury program.
Priority Four:
Juvenile Court Officer
One FTE for SCJD. Other district needs are greater than .5 in NE and SE according to staffing standards.
Judge Schmalenberger moved the staff recommendations be approved. Judge Graff seconded the motion. Motion Carried.
