RE: Rule 3, N.D.R.Crim.P., The Complaint
The proposed amendments to Rule 3 generally track the form and style of the 2002 amendments to the federal criminal rules. The language and organization of the rule are amended to make the rule more easily understood and to make style and terminology consistent throughout the rules. Subdivision (a) is split and a new subdivision (b) is added. The proposed amendments are intended to be stylistic only.
