RE: Rule 31, N.D.R.App.P.; Serving and Filing Briefs
The changes to N.D.R.App.P. 31 are proposed in response to the December 1, 1998, amendments to Fed.R.App.P. 31.
The changes in subdivisions (a) and (c) generally track the 1998 amendments to the federal rule, and are intended to make the rule more easily understood and to make style and terminology consistent throughout the rules.
