At its January meeting, the Committee made amendments to paragraph (a)(1). Staff was instructed to draft a comment in the explanatory note explaining the amendments.
A copy of Rule 24, as amended by the Committee in January, is attached containing the explanatory note comment. The new language in the explanatory note, beginning on line 77, is highlighted.
