The Joint Procedure Committee filed proposed amendments to North Dakota Rules of Civil Procedure 5, 6, 11, 40, 45; North Dakota Rules of Criminal Procedure 1 and 32.2; North Dakota Rules of Criminal Procedure Forms 9 and 9A; North Dakota Rules of Appellate Procedure 2.2; North Dakota Rules of Court 2.2, 3.1, 3.4, 11.2; North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Rule 41; and North Dakota Supreme Court Administrative Order 16. A synopsis is attached. A complete copy of the proposed Amendments may be obtained from the Clerk of the Supreme Court.
ORDERED, that a hearing be held on the proposed amendments, Thursday, October 23, 2008, at 2:45 p.m., in the Ralph J. Erickstad Courtroom of the Supreme Court, at the State Capitol in Bismarck, North Dakota. Time for personal appearances will be limited. Any person wishing to appear must notify Penny Miller, Clerk of the Supreme Court, at least three days prior to the scheduled hearing. Any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing prior to the hearing.
