The North Dakota Supreme Court is pleased to welcome the following individuals who will begin their one-year clerkships with the Court on Thursday, August 1, 2002:
Laurel R. Hanson of Thompson, North Dakota, received a B.A. in English with a concentration in writing from Moorhead State University, and received her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2002. She is the daughter of Barbara and Dennis Hanson, Grand Forks, North Dakota.
William Almlie of Rochester, Minnesota, received a B.S. in Pharmacy from the North Dakota State University, and received his J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2002. He is the son of Vernon and Marie (deceased) Almlie of Valley City, North Dakota.
Jessica M. Johnson Skaare of Grand Forks, North Dakota, received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Dakota, and received her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2002. She is the daughter of Mark A. Johnson of Bismarck, North Dakota, and Elizabeth B. Super of St. Cloud, Minnesota.
Jenny M. Samarzja of Hibbing, Minnesota, received a B.A. in English and Mass Communications from Moorhead State University, and received her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2002. She is the daughter of Henry and Barbara Vesel.
Susan E. Coleman of Duluth, Minnesota, received a B.A. in Business Administration with a minor in Communications from the University of Minnesota at Duluth, and received her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2002. She is the daughter of Bruce and Gretchen Coleman.
The Supreme Court is also pleased to announce it has selected the following individuals to serve as law clerks for the one-year term beginning August 1, 2003:
Mitch Armstrong of Dickinson, North Dakota, received a B.B.A. in Business Management from the University of North Dakota, and expects to receive his J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2003. He is the son of Mike and Connie Armstrong.
Erin Conroy of West Fargo, North Dakota, received a B.A. in Philosophy and Art-Studio from Concordia College, and expects to receive her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2003. She is the daughter of Marsha Conroy-Berlo of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Don Conroy of Minot, North Dakota.
Carey Goetz of Center, North Dakota, received a B.A. in Political Science, with a minor in English, from the University of St. Thomas, and excepts to receive her J.D. from the University of Kansas School of Law in 2003. She is the daughter of James and Devon Goetz.
Petra Mandigo of Bismarck, North Dakota, received a B.A. in Chemistry and Biology from Ripon College, and expects to receive her J.D. from Creighton University School of Law in 2003. She is the daughter of Evan and Tove Mandigo.
Stephannie Stiel of Aberdeen, South Dakota, received a B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice from the University of Moorhead, and expects to receive her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2003. She is the daughter of Tom and Vicky Sieben.
