The North Dakota Supreme Court is pleased to announce the following individuals who began their one-year clerkship with the North Dakota Supreme Court on Monday, August 3, 2009.
Leah Johnson Ellis of Williston, North Dakota, received a B.A. in Political Science and Norwegian with a concentration in Nordic Studies from St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota. Ms. Ellis received her J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2009. She is married to Ryan Ellis.
Sean Foss of Bismarck, North Dakota, received a B.A. in History and Political Science from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, North Dakota. Mr. Foss received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law in May 2009. He is the son of Marilyn Foss and Mark Foss.
Christopher S. Pieske of Jamestown, North Dakota, received a B.A. in Political Science and Honors, with a minor in History from the University of North Dakota. Mr. Pieske received his J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2009. He is married to Christina. They have one child.
Derek Rosso of Buffalo, Minnesota, received a B.S. in Biology from the University of Minnesota. Mr. Rosso received his J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in December 2008. He is married to Maria. They have one child.
Amy Oster of Velva, North Dakota, received a B.S. in Mass Communication, with a minor in Zoology from the North Dakota State University. Ms. Oster received her J.D. degree from the University of North Dakota School of Law in May 2009. She is the daughter of Dennis and Chris Oster.
