The Commission on Legal Counsel for Indigents is sponsoring a training in Bismarck, Wednesday, July 9, 2014, from 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., at the Bismarck Radisson for attorneys interested in taking on indigent defense cases, or new lawyers presently representing indigent criminal defendants.
Local attorneys will cover areas such as the right to counsel, agency and case forms, conflicts, dealing with the client from the onset, discovery, documenting time, and navigating the local criminal justice system. This training has been approved for 3.75 CLE credits.
There is no charge to attend, but please register with firstname.lastname@example.org as soon as possible in order to secure an adequately sized space.
