Summary of Work:
Supervise and manage the Medicaid Eligibility Policy unit; interpret state and federal laws and policies; develop and communicate policy and provide policy interpretation; provide input into Medicaid budget; assist with preparing fiscal estimates for program changes; develop and present legislative testimony; review and interpret eligibility data and reports; initiate program improvements and changes; ensure eligibility section of Medicaid and Childrenís Health Insurance Program state plans remain current and accurate; maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and other state agencies; and represent the Department on various committees and workgroups.
