Minimum Qualifications:
Requires Juris Doctorate degree and licensure to practice law in North Dakota within 6 months of hiring.
Preference may be given to qualified applicants who possess fraud, investigative, legislative, insurance, or regulatory experience.
Strong computer skills desired.

Summary of Work:
This position is responsible for providing legal counsel to the Commissioner and staff in all areas of insurance regulation, legislation, rule making, and as assigned; and conducting investigations in fraud and enforcement actions; and other related duties as assigned.
