Cruff, Greenwood take office as district judges

Bradley Cruff and Dann Greenwood take office as district judges on Jan. 1.

Cruff defeated longtime District Judge Richard Grosz in the Nov. 6 general election and will replace him in the Southeast Judicial District. Cruff's formal investiture ceremony is set for Jan. 4 at 2 p.m. at the Richland County Courthouse in Wahpeton.

Greenwood defeated Stark County State's Attorney Tom Henning on Nov. 6 for an open seat and will succeed retired Judge Patrick Weir in the Southwest Judicial District. Greenwood's formal investiture ceremony is set for Jan. 3 at 3 p.m. M.S.T. at the Stark County Courthouse in Dickinson.


New District Judges
Bradley CruffCruff has served as Barnes County State’s Attorney, City Attorney for Valley City and Municipal Judge for Valley City. He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 1994.
	Dann GreenwoodGreenwood was an attorney at Greenwood & Ramsey, PLLP, in Dickinson. He is a former president of the State Bar Association of North Dakota and the North Dakota Trial Lawyers Association. He is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Law and was admitted to the bar in 1977.
