Free Oct. 5 probate CLE to offer second session
The registration opportunity has been expanded for a free Continuing Legal Education program dealing with special probate procedures. Within hours of announcing availability of the program, registration had almost filled.
Judge David W. Nelson, Williston, will reprise a presentation on probate procedures at 1:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Friday, October 5, at the Burleigh County Courthouse. Judge Nelson made the presentation at the annual meeting of the State Bar Association of North Dakota in June, and was invited by the judges of the South Central Judicial District to repeat the session in Bismarck.
The 1:30 session will be a two-hour session and will also include a report from SBAND Executive Director Bill Neumann on the Justice System Energy Impact Task Force. The 3:30 p.m. session will provide 90 minutes of CLE credit.
The presentation is sponsored by the South Central Judicial District and SBAND. Registration is required because space is limited. To register, contact Ross Munns, assistant trial court administrator for the South Central Judicial District. His e-mail is rmunns@ndcourts.gov and his phone number is 701-222-6682.
If participants have registered for the 1:30 p.m. session and would prefer to attend the 3:30 p.m. session, they should contact Munns to change their registration.
