Proposed Rule 6.5, North Dakota Rule of Professional Conduct
The Joint Committee on Attorney Standards filed a Petition for proposed new Rule 6.5, North Dakota Rules of Professional Conduct, concerning Nonprofit and Court-Annexed Limited Legal Services Programs. Proposed Rule 6.5 was initially forwarded to the Court by the State Bar Association of North Dakota with comments that the Board of Governors strongly supports adoption of proposed Rule 6.5. Notice was provided under Section 7, N.D.R.Proc.R., and comments were received through August 23, 2004; written comments received were submitted to the Court. The Court considered the matter, and
ORDERED, proposed Rule 6.5, North Dakota Rules of Professional Conduct, is ADOPTED, effective October 1, 2004.
