Proposed Amendments to North Dakota
Rules for Continuing Legal Education 3(a)
On July 15, 2004, the Gender Fairness Implementation Committee filed a petition with proposed amendments to N.D.R. Continuing Legal Ed. 3(a) which would include course-work on racial and ethnic diversity, gender equity, disability access, and the elimination of bias in the profession. A copy of the proposed amendments is attached.
ORDERED, any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing before Friday, September 3, 2004. Written comments may be e-mailed to Penny Miller, Clerk of the Supreme Court, at supclerkofcourt@ndcourts.gov, or addressed to 600 E. Boulevard Ave., Dept. 180, Bismarck, ND 58505-0530.
The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened August 3, 2004, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, the Honorable William A. Neumann, the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, and the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
