Amendments to N.D. Sup. Ct. Admin. R. 41
Access to Judicial Records

On August 27, 2004, the Joint Technology Committee filed proposed amendments to N.D. Sup. Ct. Admin. R. 41. The Court requested comments on the Court Technology Committee's proposed amendments by January 18, 2005. On December 21, 2004, the State Bar Association requested that the Court Technology Committee's proposed amendments be referred to the Joint Procedure Committee, and on January 20, 2005, the Court referred the proposed amendments to the Joint Procedure Committee. On October 10, 2005, the Joint Procedure Committee filed proposed amendments to Administrative Rule 41 Access to Judicial Records. On October 24, 2005, the Court requested comments on the Joint Procedure Committee's proposed amendments to Administrative Rule 41 by November 28, 2005. The Court considered the matter, and

ORDERED, that the proposed amendments to Administrative Rule 41 Access to Judicial Records, as further amended by the Court, are ADOPTED effective July 1, 2006.

The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened January 13, 2006, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
