On September 7, 2005, Dixie Knoebel, Trial Court Administrator for Administrative Unit4,
Northwest Judicial District, filed a Petition requesting the Supreme Court to transfer the chambers of Northwest Judicial District Judgeship No. 7, currently chambered in Stanley, North Dakota, to
Minot, North Dakota, effective 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2006. Notice of the filing of the Petition was served on the Honorable William W. McLees, Presiding Judge of the Northwest
Judicial District, the Mayors of Minot and Stanley, the Chairpersons of Ward County Commission and Mountrail County Commission, and the media.
ORDERED, any person wishing to comment on the Petition may do so in writing before
