Proposed Adoption of the North Dakota Rules of Juvenile Procedure
On March 9, 2009, the Juvenile Policy Board filed a request for the adoption of the North Dakota Rules of Juvenile Procedure. A copy of the proposed rules are attached. The Supreme Court forwarded the proposed rules to the Joint Procedure Committee on March 12, 2009. The Joint Procedure Committee made recommendations for modifications to the proposed Rules. A copy of those modifications are attached. The Court considered the matter, and
ORDERED, any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing before Monday, September 14, 2009. The Court is specifically requesting comment on both the rules originally proposed by the Juvenile Policy Board and on the changes to those proposed rules requested by the Joint Procedure Committee.
