Amendments to North Dakota Supreme Court
Administrative Order 16 Regarding
Electronic Filing in the District Courts
Sally Holewa, State Court Administrator, forwarded a Memo dated June 16, 2010, to Chief Justice VandeWalle recommending amendments to Administrative Order 16, including an Addendum which would be applicable to electronic filing in those courts that have the Odyssey® system. A draft Electronic Filing and Document Access Agreement for attorneys to use the e-filing system and access electronic documents was also included with Holewa's memo. The Court preliminarily reviewed the proposals. The Court approved an Access Agreement on June 25, 2010. Following additional proposed amendments to N.D. Sup. Ct. Admin. Order 16 and the Addendum from Holewa, the Court considered the matter, and
ORDERED, the proposed amendments to N.D. Sup. Ct. Admin. Order 16 and the Addendum, as further amended by the Court, are approved effective August 1, 2010.
The Supreme Court of the State of North Dakota convened July 14, 2010, with the Honorable Gerald W. VandeWalle, Chief Justice, and the Honorable Dale V. Sandstrom, the Honorable Mary Muehlen Maring, the Honorable Carol Ronning Kapsner, the Honorable Daniel J. Crothers, Justices, directing the Clerk of the Supreme Court to enter the above order.
