The Judiciary Standards Committee (Committee), following review of the ABA Model Code of Judicial Conduct, submitted a recommendation to approve proposed amendments to the North Dakota Code of Judicial Conduct. Written comments on the proposed amendments were received through April 4, 2011.
The proposed Amendments, together with a Summary, are available at http://www.ndcourts.gov/Court/Notices/Notices.htm. Individuals who do not have internet access may contact the Office of the Clerk of the Supreme Court to obtain a copy of the proposal.
ORDERED, that a hearing be held on the proposed amendments, Monday, June 6, 2011, at 3:00 p.m., in the Ralph J. Erickstad Courtroom of the Supreme Court, at the State Capitol in Bismarck, North Dakota. Time for personal appearances will be limited. Any person wishing to appear must notify Penny Miller, Clerk of the Supreme Court, at least three days prior to the scheduled hearing. Any person wishing to comment on the proposed amendments may do so in writing prior to the hearing.
