Nygard v. Nygard
Neumann, Justice.
James E. Nygard appeals from a district court order holding him in contempt and requiring that he pay Sharon J. Nygard $5,130 plus interest for past-due spousal support, and $300 for Sharon's attorney fees. The trial court's finding that the appellant had failed to prove an accord and satisfaction of the spousal support obligation contained in the divorce decree is not clearly erroneous. NDRCivP 52(a). The trial court did not abuse its discretion in holding James in contempt for failing to comply with the spousal support obligation. Accordingly, we affirm the order under NDRAppP 35.1(a)(2) and (4).
