RULE 21. EFFECTIVE DATE; STATUTES AND RULES SUPERSEDED; TITLE AND CITATION
1 (a) Effective Date and Application. Any amendment or addition to these
2 rules is effective on the date ordered by the court. These rules, and any amendment
3 or addition, govern all proceedings and actions brought after their effective date,
4 and all further proceedings in actions pending on their effective date. If the court
5 decides that application of these rules, or any amendment or addition to these rules,
6 in a particular action pending when the rules or any amendment or addition took
7 effect would not be feasible, or would work an injustice, the previous procedure
8 must apply.
9 (b) Superseded Statutes and Rules. Upon the effective date of these rules, or
10 upon the effective date of any amendment or addition to these rules, all statutes
11 and rules, or portions of, in conflict with these rules or any amendment or addition
12 to these rules are superseded.
13 (c) Title and Citation. These rules are titled, "North Dakota Rules of
14 Juvenile Procedure," and may be cited as "N.D.R.Juv.P."
15 EXPLANATORY NOTE
16 The North Dakota Rules of Juvenile Procedure originally took effect on
17 March 1, 2010.
