Court facilities across the state will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Most county courthouses will also be closed Friday, Nov. 26. The Supreme Court and courthouses in Barnes, Burleigh, Cass and Morton counties will be open Nov. 26.

Attorney Sidney Fiergola, 63, died recently. A graduate of the UND School of Law, she was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1984. A memorial service will be held Nov. 21 in Faribault, Minn.

Longtime Rolette County Clerk of Court Susan H. Mickelson died Oct. 28. She began work in the clerk's office in 1989 and became Clerk of Court in 1994. She retired in 2014. A memorial service will be held in Rolla on Friday, Nov. 5.
