Court system to present educational seminars
The 2021 Fall Seminar Series begins Nov. 3 and will focus on understanding dementia and diminished capacity. There is no cost to attend but preregistration is required. Sessions will be presented by Zoom and are approved for two hours of CLE credit each. -

William G. Heth 1943-2021
Longtime Dickinson attorney William G. Heth died Oct. 4. He was a UND School of Law graduate and was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1968. His funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 8, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Dickinson. -

Thirty-six new lawyers were admitted to the North Dakota bar during a ceremony on Sept. 29 at the state capitol building. -
David Saxowsky 1954-2021
Teacher and attorney David Saxowsky died Sept. 24. A graduate of Ohio State University School of Law, he taught at NDSU and the UND School of Law. His funeral is Thursday, Sept. 30, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in West Fargo. -
Kraig A. Wilson 1972-2021
Grand Forks Attorney Kraig A. Wilson died Sept. 23. He was a graduate of the UND School of Law and was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1999. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 27, at Norman Funeral Home in Grand Forks. -
N.D. Attorney General opinion: Sept. 23
Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem has issued an opinion that the Mandan Public School Board provided proper notice of a special meeting because it filed the meeting notice with the county auditor.
