Longtime Bismarck attorney William "Bill" P. Pearce died Sept. 13. A Northwestern University law graduate, he was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1971. His funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Bismarck. -

The Sioux County courthouse has been closed to the public due to a rise in active COVID-19 cases. Staff remains available to handle business by telephone and email. -
Absey, Moen honored for distinguished service to court system
Grand Forks County Clerk of Court Rebecca Absey and Calendar Control Clerk Lisa Moen have both received 40 year service awards. They started work with the court system in September of 1981. -
