The state court administrator has issued the annual report on departures from mandatory minimum sentences for the period from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.

Richard H. McGee II 1950-2021

Longtime Minot attorney Richard H. McGee II died June 30. He was a graduate of the UND School of Law and was admitted to the N.D. bar in 1977. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7, in Minot.

Courthouses to close for Independence Day holiday

Susan Lein 1948-2021

UND School of Law graduate Susan Lein died June 27. She earned her law degree in 1983 and then practiced law in Hayward, Wisc. Her funeral will be held Thursday, July 1.
