He received his&amp;nbsp;Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 1988, and was admitted to the N.D. &lt;p&gt;Born and raised in Minot, Judge Lautt attended public schools through the eighth grade and graduated from Our Redeemer&amp;rsquo;s Christian School in 2003. Judge Lautt attended Tabor College in Hillsboro, Kansas, earning a bachelor&amp;rsquo;s degree in Political Science, History, and Religion in 2007. Following his undergraduate studies, Judge Lautt worked in the United States Senate as a committee staffer for Senator Gordon Smith of Oregon.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Judge Lautt returned to Kansas and began law school in 2009, earning his Juris Doctor with Dean&amp;rsquo;s Honors in 2012.
