Judge Nesvig investiture set for Oct. 21

Pamela Nesvig will be sworn in as the newest South Central District Judge in a ceremony in the Morton County Courthouse on Monday, Oct. 21, at 1 p.m. Gov. Doug Burgum appointed Nesvig to the newly authorized judgeship on Aug. 12.

South Central Judicial District Courtroom Criminal Basics training continues

Twenty-eight attorneys attended the second session of the Courthouse Criminal Basics program Oct. 15. Two additional sessions will be held on Oct. 22 and 30 from 4-6 p.m. at the Burleigh County Courthouse. Each session has been approved for two hours of CLE credit. The sessions are free, and no registration is required.

ND DOCR receives grant for drug court

KFYR News: "The North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation received a $486,253 grant through the U.S. Department of Justice Bureau of Justice Assistance. This is a three-year grant that will increase drug court services statewide."
