Judge Eyre was appointed as a District Judge by Governor Armstrong in 2025 to serve the Northeast Central Judicial District, with chambers in Grand Forks.
Born in 1984, Judge Eyre grew up in Wausau, Wisconsin. Judge Eyre earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse in 2007. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law in 2013. He is a member of the Order of the Coif and the Order of Barristers.
Judge Eyre was admitted to the N.D. Bar in 2013, and served as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Grand Forks County until he was appointed to serve as a district judge.
