Daniel S. El-Dweek

Judge El-Dweek was appointed as District Court Judge by Governor Jack Dalrymple in 2015 for the Northwest Judicial District judgeship #5 located in Watford City, ND.  He was then elected in 2018. 

Born in 1981; Judge El-Dweek attended the University of North Dakota, graduating with a B.S. in Public Administration in 2003. He attended the University of North Dakota School of Law obtaining his Juris Doctor in 2006. He was admitted to the N.D. Bar on December 2, 2013.  He became the managing attorney for the Dakota Plains Legal Services from 2006-2010; and a Staff Attorney for the Regional Native Public Defense Corporation from 2010-2013. Judge El-Dweek was the supervising attorney for the Williston Public Defender’s Office from 2013-2015.
