Summary

G.L.D. appeals from a district court order denying his request for discharge from the North Dakota State Hospital (NDSH). In 2007, G.L.D. was committed to the NDSH as a sexually dangerous individual. In 2021, G.L.D., requested a discharge hearing. A hearing was held on September 26, 2022 and the court denied his request for discharge. G.L.D. argues the district court’s finding that he has serious difficulty controlling his behavior was based on insufficient evidence, and the order finding he remains sexually dangerous individual should be reversed.
