The Supreme Court Law Library is now open for in-person visits by appointment. Law Library consultation rooms are available for use of attorneys with oral arguments before the Supreme Court.
Court facilities across the state will be closed Thursday, Nov. 25, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Most county courthouses will also be closed Friday, Nov. 26. The Supreme Court and courthouses in Barnes, Burleigh, Cass and Morton counties will be open Nov. 26.
National Adoption Day was celebrated at the Grand Forks County courthouse Saturday, Nov. 20. Judge Lolita Hartl-Romanick finalized ten adoptions for seven families.
The Supreme Court will hold an education seminar Friday, Nov. 19 from 12-1 p.m. CDT on Media Coverage of the Supreme Court. The seminar is intended for news media.
