8th Circuit decides N.D. case Tuesday, January 17, 2023

The United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit has decided a North Dakota case.

In United States v. Longie the court held that the district court did not abuse its discretion by denying defendant's motion to withdraw his guilty plea, as he failed to show the plea was not knowing and voluntary, and he did not establish a fair and just reason to withdraw it.
